The competition in the capital of Latvia is organized with the support of the Rietumu Bank, which for many years has contributed to the development of this popular sport in Latvia.
The concert of the world famous Italian conductor, Riccardo Muti, and the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra in the Dzintari Concert Hall, gathered together Latvian elite and numerous guests from other countries.
The biggest auction of art objects and antiquities in Latvia , which is held every spring by the Artembassy auction house in cooperation with Rietumu Bank, will be held on 29 th of April.
Annually, Rietumu Bank allocates EUR 1 million for charity. About a half of this amount is forwarded to projects of Rietumu Charity Fund – every year about 100 projects receive financing.
The project is supported by a Fund specially established for this purpose. Participants of the Fund are large local and foreign entrepreneurs. This event is financially supported also by Rietumu Bank, which continues its programme of promoting of classical music.
