The “Water and Cities” photo exhibition , from St. Petersburg’s artist Maria Kremneva, was opened in the Rietumu Bank Gallery. The exposition presents about 40 large-format works. Each of them has water present or a city area reflected in the water, an urbanistic motive which thus acquires a new and often unexpected sense.
This is the third big festival project held this year in Latvia with the participation of Rietumu Bank.
Young gifted sportsmen from all over Europe – Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, Belarus and Latvia – arrived for the training to the capital of Latvia.
The race, which took place at “Bikernieki” stadium in Riga, was won by Latvian team that now is going to take part in semi-final of Team World Cup.
At the Rietumu Bank Gallery, a unique exhibition of antique bicycles and mopeds, produced in Latvia since the late 1920s, has been opened.
