Rietumu Charitable Foundation has urgently decided to devote 25,000 LVL (36,000 EUR) to help Fire and Rescue Service Officers and other sufferers in the shopping mall collapse in Riga.

“We are in touch with the working party that has been already created by the government for disaster mitigation and relief measures. On our part we will try our best in order to make sure that the allocated funds are used for the most urgent relief actions. I think that the Fund will not be restricted to the already allocated funds and if necessary, a decision about additional help will be made,” says Inga Shina, the Head of Rietumu Charitable Foundation.

The International Business Conference “eCom21” is taking place in Riga at this time. At the beginning of today’s morning session the participants of the conference expressed their condolences to the catastrophe sufferers and their relatives.
