Rietumu Signs an Agreement with Russian Media Holding RBC

Within the framework of the annual collaboration contract, senior specialists of Rietumu has started to participate in live RBC Channel TV broadcasts with their comments and forecasts on the situation in the global financial markets.


The collaboration with RBC TV is planned in several directions. Rietumu experts will comment on current events in global stock markets, FOREX and commodity markets.

Rietumu
has become the first Baltic bank whose senior specialists will provide expert commentary on live RBC TV broadcasts. From the beginning of August the Bank’s experts familiarise viewers, primarily the Russian business elite, with the situation in the markets and current trends, as well as forecast future developments. Rietumu expert commentaries are broadcasted by RBC TV several times a week.

“We are pleased that the leading business TV channel has found our expertise appropriate for the Russian information media environment, and has expressed interest in our experience in global financial markets. We have previously and on many occasions presented specialised comments to Russian mass media; we are always open to coperatiopn with reputable mass media,” said Rietumu Council member Alexander Gafin.

The coming autumn also marks the period when Rietumu launches its new advertising campaign in Russia. It will help Russian entrepreneurs learn about the possibilities of expanding their businesses in Europe.

Another goal of Rietumu advertising campaign is to search for new qualitative investment and credit projects in Russia.
