Application User Data Privacy Statement of JSC “Rietumu Banka” (hereafter – the Bank) describes the categories of data, which are processed to provide online and mobile banking application iRietumu for Android /iRietumu HD for iOs (Mobile Banking), as well as a mobile city guide RietumuGuide and an interactive mobile application ecom21 Forum for participants of the international online business conference eCom21 (hereafter – all together referred as the Service).

To ensure the Service, fulfil operational and technical requirements, perform the contractual obligations, comply with applicable regulations, as well as meet its legitimate interests, the Bank, acting as a controller of personal data, processes certain categories of Users’ personal data (i.e. any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person), and other data. Rietumu HD/iRietumu
Your identification number Rietumu ID and one-time password (OTP)/test-key are processed to authenticate the User and authorize the transactions. The Bank processes User transaction details and correspondence to ensure the banking services. To set up the Mobile DigiPass software, the camera can be activated. In order to ensure the smooth operation and security of the Mobile Banking, the application uses device time and date data, operating system data, and maintains log records.

RietumuGuide processes geo-location data provided that you activate GPS function (thus giving the permission for processing of the geo-location data) to mark sightseeing places, catering establishments, culture and recreational facilities on the go. The application automatically shows the nearest spots on the third-party map integrated with the application; therefore, when you use our app, third parties might receive the information hereto and process it according to their own processing policies.

To authorize and gain full access to the content of the application, you may use the camera on your device for snapping the QR Code, issued to you upon the registration. Once logged in, the User profile will be loaded in the app (containing name, surname and contact data).

User-generated data (voting in surveys, questionnaires; questions to speakers), posted and shared with other registered participants via the User profile, makes a part of the application content to ensure interactive participation and exchange of publications with other users during the business event. User may also share photos and videos directly by using the device camera.

Date and time set on the device is processed to alert the User on the chosen topics at the time of the event.

Data available within the application is shared with other parties to ensure organizational support of the event.

To ensure operation of the Service and enhance its functionality, IP address and cookies are used. Within the Mobile Banking, IP address is processed to mitigate security risks.

The Bank takes all the appropriate measures to safeguard the security of the Service and all operations related to the Service; therefore, all the User data is transmitted securely using modern cryptography.

The Bank stores the data collected from the User in accordance with either regulatory requirements or legitimate interests of the Bank.

The Bank is entitled to amend the Application User Data Privacy Statement; the User is obliged to check it in order to get acquainted with its latest and up-to-date edition.

Additional information for Rietumu HD/iRietumu users

The Mobile DigiPass installed on a compatible mobile device can be configured by the Client to operate in the “Push Notifications” mode, within the framework of which the mobile device with Mobile DigiPass installed on it can automatically receive Client authentication confirmation requests when entering the Internet bank, as well as requests for authorization of Orders submitted via the Internet bank. The Client can confirm or reject a request to the mobile device by selecting the appropriate option in the Mobile DigiPass interface. Upon successful confirmation of the request, the Mobile DigiPass automatically generates and sends to the Bank the OTP or the Test Key necessary for entering the Internet bank or authorization of Orders.

By activating the Mobile DigiPass feature "Push Notifications" the user agrees that information regarding the currency, the amount of payment and the receiving bank, contained in the request, may be accessed by the persons who ensure the operation of Apple push notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Data recipients may be located outside the European Union, in countries that do not provide the level of information protection equivalent to the European Union, wherefore the user may not be able to exercise his rights related to data protection.

Установленный на совместимом мобильном устройстве Mobile DigiPass может быть настроен Клиентом для работы в режиме «Push Notifications», в рамках которого на мобильное устройство с установленным Mobile DigiPass могут автоматически поступать запросы на подтверждение идентификации Клиента при входе в Интернет-банк, а также запросы на авторизацию Распоряжений, поданных посредством Интернет-Банка. Клиент может подтвердить или отклонить поступивший на мобильное устройство запрос, выбрав соответствующую опцию в интерфейсе Mobile DigiPass. При успешном подтверждении запроса, Mobile DigiPass автоматически генерирует и направляет в Банк необходимый для входа в Интернет-банк или авторизации Распоряжений ОТP или Тест-ключ.

Активизируя функцию Mobile DigiPass «Push Notifications» пользователь соглашается с тем, что сведения о валюте, размере платежа, а также банке-получателе, содержащиеся в запросе, могут быть доступны лицам, которые обеспечивают работу Apple push notification service и Firebase Cloud Messaging. Получатели данных могут находиться за пределами Европейского союза, в странах, которые не обеспечивают эквивалентный Европейскому союзу уровень защиты информации, в связи с чем у пользователя может не быть возможности реализовать свои права, связанные с защитой данных.

Klients var iestatīt Mobile DigiPass, kas ir uzstādīts uz savietojamas mobilās ierīces, darbam “Push Notifications” režīmā, kura ietvaros uz mobilo ierīci ar uzstādītu Mobile DigiPass var automātiski pienākt pieprasījumi apstiprināt Klienta identifikāciju, ienākot Internetbankā, kā arī pieprasījumi autorizēt Rīkojumus, kas ir iesniegti ar Internetbankas starpniecību. Klients var apstiprināt vai noraidīt pienākušo pieprasījumu, izvēloties attiecīgu opciju Mobile DigiPass interfeisā. Veiksmīgi apstiprinot pieprasījumu, Mobile DigiPass automātiski ģenerē un nosūta Bankai OTP vai Testa atslēgu, kas ir nepieciešama ieejai Internetbankā vai Rīkojuma autorizācijai.

Aktivējot Mobile DigiPass funkciju "Push Notifications" lietotājs piekrīt, ka ziņas par maksājuma valūtu, apmēru, kā arī banku-saņēmēju, kas ir ietvertas pieprasījumā, var būt pieejamas personām, kas nodrošina Apple push notification service un Firebase Cloud Messaging darbību. Datu saņēmēji var atrasties valstīs ārpus Eiropas Savienības, kuras nenodrošina ekvivalentu informācijas aizsardzības līmeni, kāds ir noteikts Eiropas Savienībā, līdz ar ko lietotājam var nebūt iespējas realizēt savas tiesības, kas ir saistītas ar datu aizsardzību.
