The idea about exhibition that would allow Europeans to see the problem of changing climate in new ironic and humoristic way came up in 2009 during the environment conference in Copenhagen. The logo of the forum was a caricature by Swedish artist where the car entering the modern Noah’s Ark was displayed.

After the conference with support of Swedish Institute five best Swedish caricaturists made their interpretations of the issue for exhibition “Facing the Climate”. After the successful “début” in the capital of Denmark the exhibition came to Riga, and here with the support of Swedish embassy started its journey in Latvia.

Kids form children’s communities from different regions of Latvia were invited to the opening of the exhibition. They presented their works and participated in various workshops, dancing and painting classes under the guidance of the professionals.

The exhibition will be opened until June 30.
