On the 13th of October the USA celebrates a Federal Holiday – Columbus Day. On this day all state and commercial institutions, including banks, in the US will be closed. Therefore, on the 14th of October Rietumu Bank will not perform the account crediting operations in USD, which are carried out through the American correspondent banks.
Outgoing payment instructions in US dollars received from customers on the 10th of Octobet after Cut off time (1:30 p.m. Latvian time) will be sent on the same date with value date marked as October 14, 2008.
Starting from the 15th of October, all transactions in USD will be carried out as usual.
