This year Rietumu Bank received an award for the fourth time in the nomination “Best Private Bank in the CIS and Baltic States Providing Corporate Banking Services and Wealth Management for Russian Clients”; the honorary award was presented to the President of the bank Alexander Pankov.
Apart from Rietumu Bank, the list of nominees included around 50 of the biggest Russian and foreign banks, investment, insurance and law companies, including Alfa-Bank, Bank of Moscow, Goldman Sachs, Raiffeisenbank, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, etc.
Winners in each nomination were determined by an expert jury chaired by Andrey Vdovin, Chief Editor of SPEAR'S Russia magazine.
The voting process of the industry professionals and the work of the jury were supervised by the independent consultant of the award – Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

SPEAR’S Russia Wealth Management Awards is the first Russian annual award for the best representatives of the private banking industry, wealth management and related industries. The award was established and is awarded on an analogy of the famous British SPEAR’S Wealth Management Awards, which is annually organised by SPEAR’S UK magazine in London.
In the opinion of experts, SPEAR’S Russia magazine and the similarly-named award, occupy a unique place on the market of PBMW services; it is a rare opportunity to provide an independent objective evaluation of the professional qualities of participants of this community and note their achievements over the past year.
