Now an additional step for 3DSecure authorisation can be taken not only by means of entering a one-time password from the Digipass pendant, but also with the use of a code received as an SMS. This will allow one to make online transactions at any time, regardless of the availability of the Digipass pendant.
For activating this service, please contact the Information Service of the bank. Further on, for verification in the 3DSecure system, you will be able to use either the Digipass password or the SMS which will come automatically for every transaction.
This will also allow those clients who do not have Rietumu ID to make online transactions in the 3DSecure system by receiving both the code and the one-time Rietumu ID in their SMS.
For every transaction, an SMS with a new code comes which is valid for several minutes.
