8 July 2013, 12:00

This is the second edition of the guidebook, which is available both in printed and electronic forms on the bank’s webpage . An application for mobile devices can be downloaded as well.

Like the previous Rietumu guidebook, its new version recommends the best hotels, restaurants, active recreation places and cultural events of the season for guests of Latvia. According to the bank, this publication has won big popularity and has started to be acknowledged as a local form of the Michelin guidebook.

The volume of the current edition has more than doubled. Major traditional sections are presented, such as Hotels, Restaurants, Museums, Active Recreation, Shopping, Beauty and Health, Art Salons and Galleries, Current Events Guide, as well as other useful information.

A separate section of the guidebook is devoted to the new platinum class credit card Jurmala, which Rietumu Bank is presenting on the market for the first time this year.

‘When working on the new edition of the guidebook, our previous experience was of great assistance, particularly the opinions of our guests and partners, for many of whom the book has become a practical guide during recreation or business trips throughout Latvia. We are glad that the guidebook was well received. The supplements and recommendations received this year have allowed the RietumuGuide to be expanded, with account of the real requirements and interests of the guests of Latvia,’ said the Senior Vice-president, Member of the Board of Rietumu Bank Ilya Suharenko. ‘This is the chief distinguishing feature of the edition in comparison with other similar publications. Rietumu Guide is precisely focused on the audience we know well and see among our clients.’

During the entire work for the preparation and release of the Rietumu Guide-2013, the bank has closely cooperated with its Latvian clients, as a result of which we have managed to include a lot of useful and original data.

Moreover, the new edition contains information about preferences, discounts and other privileges available this season for holders of the Jurmala credit card issued by Rietumu Bank.
