This is to inform that on 17 June 2010 the Executive Board of Rietumu Bank accepted the new version of terms and conditions of JSC “Rietumu Banka” and customer agreement, which constitute an integral part of the signed Rietumu Bank and Customer Agreement.
The new version of terms and conditions is accepted in line with the legal act of the Republic of Latvia – “The Law on Payment Services”.
Most of changes and amendments relate to terminology, as well as content of the new law. The alterations define obligations of banks more clearly and expand rights and opportunities of customers in relation to execution of payment orders.
The new version of the agreement’s terms and conditions will come into force on 1 August 2010. Starting from this date, the new terms and conditions will govern mutual legal relations between the Bank and the Customer, including agreements concluded before 1 August.
