This is to inform about upcoming changes in Bank’s Tariffs on maintenance of MasterCard World Elite, Visa Platinum Jurmala, Charge Gold and Charge Platinum payment cards, as well as on the use of payments cards’ credit limit.
From 1 April, 2015, the following terms and conditions come into effect for newly issued cards:
- The minimum amount of guarantee deposit for new MasterCard World Elite cards is reduced to 10 000 EUR;
- Annual fee for maintenance of MasterCard World Elite cards is reduced to 1 000 EUR;
- Interest rate for the use of credit limit for MasterCard World Elite, Visa Platinum Jurmala, Charge Gold and Charge Platinum cards will be set in the range of for 8 to 16% p.a. (depending on the type of card and its securing);
- For all types of cards the free schedule of the use of credit limit remains unchanged – the client may stay in the used amount of the credit limit without any time restrictions and without any fee for a delayed payment.
Starting from 1 June, 2015, abovementioned amendments will come into effect also with regard to cards issued before 1 April, 2015.
From the same date Rietumu Bank stops to issue and replace Maestro/Visa Electron and Visa Virtual cars.
We also draw your attention to the fact that starting from 1 June, 2015, general Regulations for the issue and maintenance of credit limit and/or overdraft and Regulations for the issue and maintenance of credit limit for MasterCard World Elite card will become a part of Regulations of the JSC Rietumu Banka and Client Agreement
