Forbes magazine has published TOP rating of Baltic region's banks, including Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian leading financial institutions.
The rating is based on financial data on the end of the year 2020. Rietumu Bank ranks high positions by all of the indicators along with international financial corporations.
According to Forbes, in 2020 year the financial sector, as well as the entire society, was strongly affected by Covid-19. Nevertheless, most banks and non-bank credit institutions managed to adapt to new reality although their profits dropped. This year Forbes experts expect economy to recovery and overtake previous years losses.
Rietumu Bank in Forbes TOP ranks at 5th position on capital adequacy, 10th position on profitability and 11-12th position on net profit, assets, customer deposits and loans. There are 27 banks of the region included in the top.
