The Annual Award Ceremony ‘Media Manager of Russia’ will be held on July 2 in Moscow City Golf Club .

Board voted for designing the winner of the Media Manager of Russia Grand Prix award this year, the winners of the Industry Partners nomination as well as the winner of the new special nomination for the professionals of the Russian mass media outside Russia.
According to the meeting, a member of the Supervisory Board of the National ‘Media Manager of Russia’ Award, the member of the Supervisory Board of the Latvian bank Rietumu, Alexander Gafin noted,
‘the prestigious Media Manager of Russia Award reflects the most vital issues and challenges of both the entire industry and each of its participants. Therefore, the members of the Supervisory Board made their choice based on the individual merits of the winners and their contribution to the development of the entire media industry as a whole.” Commenting on the winner designation in the nomination for the professionals of foreign Russian media, Mr. Gafin noted that the award was decided to present a representative of Latvia.
‘I do not want to stay ahead of the game, but today we can say that the Council has made its choice, including a relatively new nomination for representatives of foreign mass media. The professional from Latvia is recognized to be the best. He is a well-known person, businessman, and publisher, whose name will be announced soon. In addition, being a representative of the largest private bank of the country, I like this fact very much. Latvia has always been characterized by a high quality level of the media, and to my mind this award is fully deserved’- said the banker.
The next meeting of the Supervisory Board of Media Manager of Russia Award will be held in autumn 2015. It will sum up the results of the award and determine the organizing committee work on the following National Media Manager of Russia Award 2016.
Since 2001, the Media Manager of Russia 2014 Award has been presented to the top managers of the media, advertising and PR-Industry for professionalism and innovative approach to management.
The award objective is in a specific context to note the most interesting achievements in media business management, to draw attention to the key processes of the industry, its specificity, and structure, to present the best media managers of the year as well as to favour the industry promotion and its role in the development of the state and society.
